Il San Felipe, varato nel 1714 presso i cantieri di La Coruña, è stato uno dei galeoni più iconici e maestosi della Marina Spagnola del XVIII secolo.

Progettato per difendere gli interessi coloniali spagnoli nelle Americhe, rappresentava un simbolo di potenza e sfarzo per la corona.
